EB-5 Immigration Investor Program Visa Details

The visual graph represents the total amount of EB-5 visas that have been issued since the inception of the the program back in 1992. The United States has issued more than 29,000+  EB-5 visas which has created over 50,000+ new US jobs and generated $6.8 billion in investment through the EB-5 program to date. From 2008 to 2013 (current) more than 70% of the issued visas were generated during this time frame. The year 2012 was the most productive year of the EB-5 program since 1992 and 2013 looks out grow the previous year visas.

What’s positive with the EB-5 Immigration Investor Program

To close a week of complaining about what’s wrong with the EB-5 program, I’d like to conclude with pointing out that the EB-5 program has been functioning, despite the challenges.  Even in 2012, when many of the processing problems that we complain about came to a head, USCIS still approved 3,677 new EB-5 immigrant petitions and verified successful job creation and granted permanent residence to 736 investors. (See my FY2012 stats post for detail.)  Those numbers represent half a million to a million dollars per investor going into US businesses and 10+ verified jobs created per investor. Those numbers are not small, despite all the problems. You’ll recall that the US Department of State issued a record total of 7,641 EB-5 visas to investors and their families in FY2012, prompting fears that EB-5 visa usage might approach its limit for the first time ever...

Bonacic Wants Legislative Control Over The State's Casino Locations

More positive news coming out of Albany, New York pertaining to the locations of where the State's Casino's will be located. This is great news for the Rock Hill Town Center project that is sponsored by RH Land and Rock Hill Regional Center (Empire State EB-5). With the bolstering of economic growth in the Upstate New York region, especially with the casinos in mind, this area will be in need of hospitality and commercial real estate which the Rock Hill Town Center will have to offer.

Bonacic said he would ideally like to see three casinos in the Catskills and one at the Aqueduct racino, which produced record revenues last month.The Catskills in 2001 was authorized to have three Indian casinos, but has never been built.
