Genesee Valley Agri-Business Park, Batavia NY
|
Empire State
EB5 recently met with the
Town of Batavia's
supervisor, Gregory Post and board members to discuss how the
EB5
Immigration Investor program works and to hear about plans the town has
presently and in the future. Gregory explained to us how the town's pro-active
approach to attracting business to Batavia and Genesee County has been accepted
by many businesses, domestic and international. A recent example of success was
on Septemeber 27, 2012,
Alpina
Foods official opening of a new yogurt plant in the
Genesee
Valley Agri-Business Park.
Alpina Foods
is an international company headquartered in Bogota, Colombia and has sold its
broad line of dairy products for years in the United States. The Batavia, NY
facility is the first plant built in the U.S. This news is extremely
important for an area that is on the up-swing, growing the region’s economy
and creating new jobs. With the introduction of the Agri-Business Park in
Batvia and what the EB5 program has to offer the possibilities of local
economic growth are endless.
Empire State EB5
wants to thank the Town of Batavia and Gregory Post for hosting us for the
day. We look forward to working with the Town of Batavia in the future.
