Empire State EB-5 has been working to revitalize an area in the Southern Tier of New York State for 12 months now with local support. The project at hand consists of a newly constructed $15 million Assisted Living Facility to an area in need of not only hospice care, but also job creation. Through the EB-5 program this project will create and sustain at least 145 jobs for the area. The living facility will be breaking ground beginning in the second quarter of 2012 and will offer 50 one and two bed apartments for seniors requiring assistance with their daily activities, including meals, transportation, housekeeping, laundry, social activities, and medication management. Twenty-two privately owned Independent Living Patio Homes would also be included in the project as well as the second phase that will include 16 Assisted Living Apartments and potentially a secure Dementia Unit. We are proud to be a part of such an exhilarating process and seeing the finalized project will satisfy us no more than it will for the surrounding communities in that region.
